Ben Hedberg, MC, LPC, CCBT is the founder and lead counselor of Adolescent & Family Counseling Specialists. Ben was born in Phoenix, Arizona and is married, father of 2 children, a Wheaton Terrior, Desert Tortoise, Parakeet, and Beta Fish. Jenny Li, married and mother of 2 children, is our Office Manager and administrative liason with the insurance companies. Hanna (African Fat-Tail Gecko) is our office mascot.

Ben Hedberg has a Master's Degree in Counseling with 18 years experience working with adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings (i.e. Private Practice, Mental Health/Substance Abuse Treatment Agencies, and the Maricopa County Juvenile Court). Ben is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the State of Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, a Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist (CCBT), a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with the National Board for Certified Counselors, member of the Arizona Counseling Association (AZCA) , and member of the National Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapists (NACBT).
